Banned BO_ok

A book I have read that got banned was called, The Diary of Anne Frank. It's was about a jewish girl that had to live a life of hiding from the nazi in their attic and living a life were if she got caught she would be sent to camps or even sentenced to death. The book was banned in 1983 at the Alabama State Textbook Committee. They claim the book was banned because it was a real "downer." And with many reports that I read about why it was banned, many say that the reason that many states, publics school, and libraries are still unknown. I believe this book helped understand the roles and lives that people lived during World War II, but to tell you the truth I found this book to be kinda boring.
